Purposes and Manner of Processing of Personal Data

• To authenticate users, establish and maintain account access credentials, and administer account lifecycle functions.
• To process translation requests and related service operations, including computation and management of subscription and credit entitlements.
• To facilitate payment authorization, billing operations, fraud prevention controls, and subscription management activities.

We engage third-party service providers for authentication, payment processing (Stripe), AI-powered translation, and analytics. Such providers may process personal data solely in accordance with their applicable contractual obligations, their own governing privacy documentation, and relevant legal requirements.

Third-Party Login and Federated Authentication

YourTL permits the creation of user accounts and subsequent authentication through third-party identity services, including Google. Where you register or authenticate through Google, YourTL may receive and process account information associated with your Google profile, including your name and email address, for the limited purpose of account provisioning and authentication continuity.

You may revoke such access at any time through your Google account settings; provided, however, that revocation may limit or disable your ability to use Google-based login functionality within the Service unless alternative authentication credentials are established.

YourTL uses cookies and similar local storage technologies strictly for purposes essential to the operation and functionality of the Service, including user authentication, session management, and retention of user interface preferences. Data Retention, Deletion Procedures, and Archival Handling

• Personal data associated with user accounts is retained for so long as the applicable account remains active and such retention remains necessary for service delivery, administration, security, and compliance purposes.
• To request deletion of personal data, you must contact yourtl.app@gmail.com using the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account.
• Upon receipt of a deletion request, YourTL will undertake reasonable identity verification measures and will process verified requests within a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, except where a longer period is permitted by applicable law.
• Certain data may remain in backup, archival, or disaster-recovery systems for up to ninety (90) days following deletion from active systems.
• Notwithstanding the foregoing, specific categories of information, including payment and billing records, may be retained for longer periods where required by law, regulation, legal process, or legitimate enforcement needs.

Data Security Measures and Risk Disclosure

The security, confidentiality, and integrity of personal data are matters of material importance to YourTL, and accordingly YourTL implements commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction. Notwithstanding such measures, no method of electronic transmission, network communication, or digital storage can be guaranteed to be entirely secure, and therefore YourTL cannot warrant or guarantee absolute security under all circumstances.

Personal data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed within jurisdictions outside your country of residence where service infrastructure or affiliated processing operations are located. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to such cross-border data transfers. YourTL undertakes reasonable steps intended to ensure that personal data remains subject to appropriate safeguards and is treated securely in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

No Sale or Commercial Exploitation of Personal Data

Under no circumstances shall YourTL sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise make available for commercial consideration any personally identifiable information or personal data collected from or on behalf of users of the Service to any unaffiliated third party for the purposes of independent marketing, advertising, or promotional activities.

Data Relating to Minors

The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, individuals under sixteen (16) years of age, and YourTL does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals who do not satisfy this age threshold in connection with normal operation of the Service.
