Service Description

YourTL is a software-as-a-service platform that provides AI-assisted translation functionality for web novel content. Subject to these Terms, users may import content, perform entity extraction, and translate source materials from Chinese, Japanese, and Korean into English.

Account

• You shall provide complete, accurate, and current registration information and shall promptly update such information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.
• Each individual is permitted to maintain only one account. The creation or operation of multiple accounts by the same individual may constitute a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension or termination.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for all activities occurring under your account.
• You represent and warrant that you are at least sixteen (16) years of age and legally capable of entering into this agreement.

To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, please refer to the data deletion procedure described in our Privacy Policy.

User Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for ensuring that you possess all legal rights, permissions, and authorizations required to translate any content submitted to or processed through the Service.
• By using the Service, you represent and warrant that your use of submitted content is authorized and that you hold all necessary rights to request and obtain translations.
• You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, regulations, and legal requirements in connection with your use of the Service.
• YourTL makes no representation or warranty that your use of the Service will not infringe the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights.

Subscription and Credits

• The Service offers three subscription tiers, each billed on a recurring monthly basis.
• Subscription credits are reset at the commencement of each billing cycle, and any unused monthly credits are forfeited and do not carry over.
• Credit packs are offered as one-time purchases, and credits acquired through such packs are permanent and do not expire.
• Where applicable, monthly credits are consumed prior to the consumption of permanent credits.
• For refund consideration, you must contact support within seven (7) days of purchase. Refunds for unused credits may be issued at YourTL's sole discretion; credits already consumed are non-refundable.

Acceptable Use and Fair Use Policy

• The Service is made available solely for personal, non-commercial web novel translation use.
• You shall not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit translations generated through the Service.
• You shall not use bots, scrapers, or other automated methods to abuse or misuse the Service beyond functionality expressly provided by YourTL.
• You shall not attempt to bypass, interfere with, or circumvent credit limits, rate limits, anti-copy protections, or other technical controls.
• YourTL reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaging in abusive usage patterns, including excessive automated requests, credit exploitation, or conduct that degrades service quality for other users.
• YourTL may revise, adjust, or enforce fair use limits at any time as operational needs and platform scale evolve.
• Unauthorized Commercial Distribution: The use of the Service to generate content for unauthorized commercial distribution, including distribution through pirate sites or platforms disseminating copyrighted content without authorization, shall result in immediate and permanent termination of the relevant account.
• Automation Prohibition: The use of external automation tools, macros, scripts, or similar mechanisms to access or interact with the Service beyond provided features is strictly prohibited. Where such automation is suspected or detected, YourTL may immediately suspend or permanently ban the offending account.

Content

• Third-party source content, including original web novels, remains the intellectual property of the respective authors, publishers, and rights holders. YourTL claims no ownership interest in such source content or in translations generated using the Service.
• Translations produced through the Service are generated at the direction and responsibility of the applicable user. YourTL does not publish such translations and assumes no liability for user-generated translated output.
• You remain solely responsible for all content submitted, imported, or translated through your use of the Service.
• You acknowledge and agree that AI-generated translations may contain inaccuracies, and YourTL disclaims responsibility for translation completeness, quality, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Intellectual Property

• The Service, including the YourTL platform, software, branding, trademarks, and underlying technology, is and shall remain the exclusive property of YourTL and its licensors.
• Original source novels and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective authors, publishers, and rights holders.

Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, YourTL shall not be liable for translation errors, data loss, business interruption, service unavailability, or any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
• In all cases, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, YourTL's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to YourTL during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless YourTL and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of, relating to, or in connection with your use of the Service, your submitted content, or your breach of these Terms.

Termination

YourTL reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account and/or access to the Service at any time, with or without prior notice, where YourTL reasonably determines that your conduct violates these Terms, poses risk or harm to other users or the Service, or is otherwise improper.

Changes to Terms

• YourTL may amend, revise, or otherwise update these Terms at any time in its discretion.
• Where changes are considered material, YourTL will provide notice through reasonable means, including email notification.
• Your continued access to or use of the Service following the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of such revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions, suits, or proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in France.

DMCA Notice and Takedown Policy

YourTL respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that material accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to yourtl.app@gmail.com containing:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail to permit location and review.
• Your name and contact information.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate.

Upon receipt of a legally sufficient notice, YourTL will respond in accordance with applicable law, including by removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material where appropriate.

YourTL provides translation tools that may be used with content available from external websites; YourTL does not host or control third-party source content. If allegedly infringing material is hosted by a third party, you should also direct your notice to the relevant third-party hosting provider or website operator.
