What a JJWXC purchase gives you

JJWXC is a Chinese web-novel platform where readers can purchase access to VIP chapters. That purchase grants access to read the chapters through JJWXC. It does not automatically grant a right to copy, export, or translate them.

JJWXC's current user registration agreement says that, without permission, users may not copy, download, modify, or translate site content. Keep that boundary in mind before buying: paid access and permission to reuse text are separate questions.

Create an account from overseas

JJWXC's registration page currently reserves phone registration for mainland-China numbers and directs other readers to email registration. The email form asks for an image CAPTCHA and an emailed verification code.

The supported-email list currently includes Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo, and iCloud, alongside several Chinese providers. Use an address you can keep: JJWXC's agreement expects valid contact information. We verified that the public form exists, but did not complete account creation, so email delivery and country-specific security checks were not tested end to end.

WeChat binding (readers report it is optional)

Readers report that email registration works without binding WeChat, and that binding it can help if JJWXC later presents a security check, including situations where WeChat was usable in place of a mainland phone number.

Treat that as community experience, not a promise from JJWXC. Readers also report that creating a WeChat account can introduce its own friend or QR verification step, making WeChat the harder part of setup for some people.

Reading and copying realities

In July 2026, ordinary text selection was blocked on the sampled public chapter in both JJWXC's desktop and mobile web pages. That means even a visible public chapter should not be assumed to support plain copy and paste.

For VIP chapters, readers report a mixture of normal text and protected image or custom-glyph spans. Some lines may therefore behave differently from others. We did not purchase a chapter for this review, so the exact share of selectable and protected content is unverified and should not be guessed.

The app is not a portable-file route. JJWXC staff guidance has described cached paid chapters as offline in-app reading that cannot be exported as TXT. That official answer is historical, from 2018, and the 2026 paid-app flow was not retested. Readers also report that the app is less copy-friendly than the web.

Where YourTL stops

EPUB, TXT, and paste import remain available for text you are authorized to use, such as a separately supplied lawful file or text for which you have permission. A purchase alone is not that authorization. If a title has a licensed English edition, check that option before building a personal translation workflow.
